The Mum Love TeamGeorgie Woollams
Founder of Katch International, an award-winning PR and communications agency with offices in London and the Middle East. I am also the Founder of Mum Love, a foundation dedicated to addressing the often-overlooked issue of maternal identity loss.
Mum Love emerged from my own experience with the shift in maternal identity. When I became a mother, I expected life to continue at the same pace, but I felt completely lost. Discovering the concept of an "identity crisis in motherhood" was a turning point for me. If someone had shared this insight earlier, I wouldn’t have felt so alone.
Through Mum Love, I aim to help other mothers navigate the emotional and professional changes that can follow childbirth while advocating for stronger support systems. I want to ensure that no mother ever feels unseen or unsupported. From one mother to another, this is why I do what I do.
PING HE
Ping He is a global founder and adviser with over two decades of experience building and scaling consumer and e-commerce businesses across the UK, Europe, China, and the Middle East.
As a mum, she supports Mum Love as purposeful charity work, contributing her strategic and community-building experience to help create safe, thoughtful spaces where mothers can share their stories, feel understood, and navigate the emotional shifts of motherhood. Her work with Mum Love reflects a broader commitment to using experience and platform to drive meaningful social impact.
Fran Aukland
Founder of Sotto Digital and website designer for Mum Love. Based in London with my family, I've built my career creating digital experiences that connect and support people, which is exactly what drew me to Mum Love.
When I had my kids, there just wasn't a space like Mum Love - somewhere mothers could go for proper support without judgment. My own experience of becoming a mum, shaped why I wanted to be involved in creating this space. The pressure to "have it all," and the constant juggling act of wanting both a fulfilling career and the perfect family life.
Using my digital expertise to help build a platform that offers the support I once needed feels like bringing my professional and personal worlds together in the most meaningful way.
Louise Webster
Hi, I’m Louise, founder of Beyondtheschoolrun - the platform connecting mothers to their skills and talents to empower them to grow both personally and professionally and the international author of ‘ A New Way for Mothers’ a roadmap for how women can reconnect with themselves and their potential beyond motherhood.
For over a decade, my work has been dedicated to the empowerment of women and girls - since then I have seen incredible progress for mothers, yet it’s clear there is still so much more to be done. The conversations I have every week, and the powerful responses to Mum Love, reflect how deeply this work is needed.
My mission is closely aligned with Mum Love, and I couldn’t be prouder to be part of this incredible team and foundation. It is addressing a vital piece of the puzzle in supporting and empowering mothers at one of the most transformative moments of their lives
Hazel Beevers
I’m Hazel, a freelance creative consultant and mum to two small and very energetic boys. I help brands, agencies and charities to devise and deliver change through campaigns and content - from Surfers Against Sewage, to Ben & Jerry’s and M&S.
I’ve been on the Mum Love journey from the start; from developing campaign strategy, to website architecture, tone of voice and overall creative direction. It’s been an insightful, profound and incredibly positive experience helping Georgie to grow Mum Love into a real, powerful, agenda-setting tool that can help change mums’ lives.
And at times, I’ve found myself turning the lens onto myself, considering how I feel as a mum. How it feels in the modern world to be a parent with endless advice but no tangible support. How it feels to live the extremes of joy and rage in one bodily moment. How it feels to be together yet alone. And in those moments of introspection, I see more than ever why Mum Love is needed. Because we mums need to be understood.
Jo Carlile and Tallie Hopkins
Both boy-mums and the co-founders of Pear, the platform that makes it easy to find the right therapist for you. We've both been through that motherhood identity shift and it's really difficult to come to terms with, so we're really behind the mission of the team at Mum Love. If you're in the trenches at the moment, we promise it does get easier but in the meantime if there's anything we can do at Pear to help you get some support through the wild journey of motherhood then please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Louise Marks
I’m Louise, CoFounder of Fanattik, creators of licensed gifts & collectibles for film & gaming fans. Having been an employee when I entered motherhood, I’m committed to doing things differently with my own business, especially when it comes to workplace wellbeing.
Based in a semi-rural village in the North West it’s easy to feel physically isolated and so navigating life as an autoimmune warrior with a stepson and two daughters in a neurodiverse household whilst building a business with my husband means I cannot overstate the value I hold in a strong community.
Community and inspiration is what I found in Georgie. We have been friends for well over two decades so when she shared her desire to ensure other mums were seen and supported it resonated deeply with me and I knew I could bring my lived experience to Mum Love.
