A real life guide from someone experiencing an ectopic pregnancy

A real life guide of someone who is going through and a bit clearer indications of your symptoms

On August 7 2023 it was confirmed I was having an ectopic pregnancy I had been bleeding for two weeks up to this.

I have had three miscarriages and I also have 23 month year old daughter. My pregnancy with my daughter Éabha was the only one I knew would be a viable pregnancy.

Call it a sixth sense, mother’s intuition or simply your body and your brain connecting but all the other ones I just knew wouldn’t work

I had a similar feeling about this ectopic pregnancy I’m currently experiencing. With Éabha I never talked about miscarriage, I never prefaced telling friends I was pregnant with, “but we’ll see how it goes” which I have for all my others.

Below is a concise list of symptoms I experienced

– All your pregnancy symptoms stop in a day. Up to about 2 weeks pregnant I was feeling pretty nauseous this went in a day

– I started having dark brown bleeding when I wiped not loads but there.

– quite a few clots when I wiped too – stringy
